Laptop info.?
I wanted to buy a new laptop, but I do not know what as well. I am ready, up to about $ 1200 I will be there with the school, Music, internet and cinema. I have the Toshiba Satellite A205-S5855 and HP Pavilion DV9810US. What is the difference between AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core and Intel Core 2 Duo processor? Also HP has the quality be improved? I had an old HP and went off the backlight. Later I found out it was with HP. Please help me Deciding what is good. One last thing, what is a good laser printer, too? From what I hear, Cannon is the best.
I recommend going with the Core 2 Duo over Working with one of the mobile AMD chips. They are just so much better. $ 1200 You get a lot from a laptop at this day. Aim for a Core 2 Duo, either 5xxx or 7xxx (ex 5450 or 7100). The 2xxx is too old, and I do not think you can get the 8xxx or 9xxx for that price. Try to get something with at least 2 GB of RAM. Moreover You may be able to get a dedicated video card, if that's your thing. It is, you can use all RAM memory for the tasks, rather than allocating run something like this on your video card. I hope this helps you out. They seem to want a PC, so that's not why I recommend a mac. It's all about preferences.
